Why is my workout missing (performed outside a Myzone gym)?

Follow these steps to make sure every move is accounted for.

Were you watching your Live Tile?

Yes, I was watching my Live Tile on my app.

Did you notice the belt's reading of your heart rate drop out, drop very low, freeze, or "search?"

  • Yes. It is likely your belt did not successfully capture this workout. Please see our troubleshooting guide for the MZ-1, MZ-3, or the MZ-Switch
  • No. Please put your belt, open your app, wait a few moments and pull down to refresh your home feed.
    • If you see your full workout appear this means you had some data leftover on the belt. You may now remove your belt and unsnap the module from your strap.
    • If your workout does not appear, it is likely this workout was dropped due to a network error (see below).

No, I was not watching my Live Tile on my app.

Put on your belt and connect to the app. Wait a few moments and pull down to refresh your home feed. If you had data still left on your belt, it will now upload.

If nothing has uploaded, go to your sidebar Menu and select Help, then select My Data.

  • Check the time frame of your latest entry. If you see less than 10 minutes of heart rate data recorded, unfortunately, not enough information was captured to create a workout graph or summary and see our troubleshooting guide for the MZ-1, MZ-3, or the MZ-Switch
  • If you do see your full workout shown in your My Data tab but it does not appear after a mobile upload, unfortunately this may have been dropped by a network error (see below).

Network Error

When your belt and mobile app are connected, your workout is not saved to your device's memory*, but instead your data is pulled from the belt to the app and sent to your account online.

This means that if you are training in an area with insecure WIFI or cellular service while keeping the app open or running in the background in your pocket, pieces of your workout may be dropped.

To prevent this, please FULLY CLOSE your mobile app to end the connection so that your workout can save to your device's memory. You can connect the belt and app to upload your saved workout at a later time.

*Note: the MZ-1 does not have internal memory, but the MZ-3 can hold 16 hours of workout data, and the MZ-Switch can hold 36 hours.
